When most people talk about cars, they mainly focus on the visible parts of the car's appearance, interior, and configuration. But in fact, where the car can't see is equally important. They are about the hard power of the car.

Suspension, one of the most critical parts of a car. It is related to the comfort and stability of car driving, so that many car dealers pay more and more attention to the importance of suspension, especially when new cars are launched, they will make a big fuss about car suspension to attract consumers. So, just how important is suspension? How do consumers make choices when buying a car? So we're going to talk about "invisible suspension" today.

What is suspension? Simply put, it is the part that connects the body to the tires. At present, there are two main types of vehicle suspensions: independent suspension and non-independent suspension. Independent suspension, as the name implies, is that each wheel is connected to the body by an independent device. The advantage of this is that the respective wheels are independent and non-interfering with each other. If the wheel on this side encounters uneven ground, the feedback from the unevenness will only be reflected on the wheel on this side, and will not affect the state of the other side or even other wheels. In this way, the stability of the car will be guaranteed.

Independent suspension can be divided into McPherson suspension, double wishbone suspension and multi-link suspension. Like the McPherson suspension, it is generally applied to the front wheel of the car because of its small size and light weight;

As for the double-wishbone suspension, it has two upper and lower wishbone arms, which can stabilize the weight and make the control of the whole car very good.

The multi-link suspension uses 4 to 5 links to connect on the original basis, and the stability effect is more prominent.

The comfort of these suspensions is incremental, but at the same time proportional to the cost. And this is also one of the disadvantages of independent suspension, and the cost caused by the complex structure is too high.

As for the non-independent suspension, the influence of the wheel and the wheel is mutually transmitted. There will definitely be a drop in comfort, but the advantage of this suspension is that since the wheels are affected together, the handling will be more consistent, there will be no top-heavy feeling, and the tires will be much less angled and worn. In addition, because of its simple structure, the cost is much lower than that of independent suspension.

In addition, the air suspension we often hear is actually based on the calculation of road conditions and car sensors, through the air compressor, the spring is automatically compressed or stretched to achieve a shock absorption purpose.
